Ashland Denison works on the YM&C Charter Development, Student Services, Corporate, and Labor/Employment Teams.
Before joining Young, Minney & Corr, LLP, Ashland worked for the Los Angeles County Office of Education as a Project Coordinator overseeing the school-to-career services of the County. Ashland also worked at the California Department of Justice in the licensing division.Â
Before pursuing a career in law, Ashland spent five years running a Workability 1 grant for the California Department of Education and a Transition Partnership Program between the Department of Rehabilitation and the Los Angeles County Office of Education. These programs helped incarcerated youth transition from high school into meaningful careers. His decision to go to law school stemmed from believing everyone should know their legal rights. His passion for youth has manifested in almost 20 years of experience working for child development centers, schools, and youth centers. Â He passionately believes that all children should have the opportunity to attend excellent public schools.Â
