Christine Lee Shun brings over a decade of experience in government and public policy to her legal practice on behalf of educational agencies. Her areas of expertise include public board governance, labor and employment, public facilities, and compliance with the California Public Records Act and the Brown Act.
Prior to joining YMC, Christine served as a Trade Commissioner at the Consulate General of Canada in San Francisco where she counseled Canadian technology companies on market expansion into California. She was previously a staff attorney at a non-profit housing organization in the Bay Area.
While in law school, Christine competed in the Tang National Moot Court Competition and won the Best Speaker Award in the Western Regionals. She also served as Co-Chair of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) Conference in the Bay Area.
