When it is time for your school’s annual independent audit, will you pass the test?

AB 130 and AB 167 (2021) radically changed the conditions of apportionment of school funding for independent study. In March of 2022, the Education Audit Appeals Panel adopted a Supplemental Audit Guide to address the legislative changes that impacted the conditions of apportionment of school funding for the last audit year.

This presentation will walk through the Supplemental Audit Guide requirements specifically as applied to independent study (whether used as an instructional methodology for classroom-based or nonclassroom-based charter schools). Attendees will leave this webinar fully prepared to complete their own internal audits in advance of their 2021-22 independent audit so as to best protect your school’s funding.
