Education Audit Appeals Panel (EAAP)

The Education Audit Appeals Panel (EAAP) is a state agency that is empowered to hear appeals for apportionment significant audit findings. The EAAP panel that hears appeals consists of one representative from each of the following: Department of Finance, Superintendent of Public Instruction, and FCMAT. The Executive Director of EAAP has independent authority to resolve audit appeals through an informal summary review process wherein s/he may reduce or waive a finding, or approve a repayment plan.
