Overview
Erica Williams is excited to be joining YM&C as a Law Clerk. She has 18 years of experience in special education as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), both in the private sector and public education, specializing in functional behavior assessments, classroom management, and implementing evidence-based practices. Throughout her career, Erica played a key role in developing classrooms for students with emotional disturbance, autism, and functional skills-based needs. As an active IEP participant, she contributed to individualized educational planning and support. She also authored an RBT curriculum and developed numerous training courses on PBIS, MTSS, and Therapeutic Crisis training. A dedicated advocate for student success, Erica was a member of PENT and a Captains member. Recently transitioning into the legal field, she is excited to bring her background and expertise to YM&C as a law clerk, focusing on special education, student services, and charter development.
