Leticia Velez Ericson represents public service entities in employment law matters for claims filed with administrative and state agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, U.S. Department Office for Civil Rights, California Civil Rights Department, and Department of Industrial Relations. She delivers legal guidance on complex employment matters such as performance management, wage and hour law, leave administration, accommodations, harassment prevention, and alternative dispute resolution.

Before joining Young, Minney & Corr, LLP, Leticia developed a two-decade career in business operations. As a civil servant, she served state and national public entities as an equal employment opportunity officer and senior human resources manager. She was the head of a workplace investigations department for complex Title VII and Title IX cases. Experienced as a business management leader, Leticia cultivated an adaptive, strategic, and practical business communications skill set. Leticia was featured as a panelist for San Francisco Bay Area’s EEO Enforcement Office, speaking on Human Resources industry best practices. She maintains a Society of Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Leticia works to empower organizations with essential legal information and on-point advice that enables leaders to make critical business decisions in real time. She strives to support public sector entities in maintaining required legal compliance while efficiently and nimbly fulfilling their critical public mission to serve the greater good of our society.

Leticia’s alma mater is the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she proudly earned a Labor and Employment Law Certificate with Honors in tandem with her J.D.
