Overview
Julio Colomba represents clients in facilities and real estate matters, operations, regulatory compliance, business matters, and litigation. Julio has experience performing a wide array of work for school clients, including actual property purchases and leases, Proposition 39 requests and litigation, bond transactions, CEQA compliance, school and employee safety, general facilities and operational compliance, and litigation of matters arising from the Charter Schools Act.
Before joining Young, Minney & Corr LLP, Julio represented private and public entity clients in litigation and counseling on property law/real estate, public entity defense, business matters, environmental law, and constitutional law.
Julio enthusiastically supports the school choice movement and is proud to support clients who make a difference every day in improving the status quo of California’s education system. Innovative educators tend to encounter resistance and novel legal problems, and Julio is always pleased to help his clients overcome those issues—whether big or small.
He is licensed to practice in California, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and before the United States Ninth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeal.
