Overview
Lindsay Rosas’s practice areas include litigation, labor and employment, facilities, and school development. Lindsay previously worked at a prominent Los Angeles pro bono law firm, focusing on employment law and Title IX representation. Before pursuing a career in law, Lindsay spent two years working in elementary school education and three years as a business analyst in the tech industry.
Lindsay earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in International Business from the University of Akron. She earned her J.D. from Southwestern Law School, graduating cum laude. During law school, Lindsay was recognized for her academic performance and leadership, including as a staff member of the Southwestern Law Review, Board Member for the Southwestern Moot Court Honors Program, Secretary and Communications Chair of the Southwestern Public Interest Law Committee, and as an Octa-Finalist in the Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Competition and Semi-Finalist in the Leroy R. Hassell, Sr. National Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition. While in law school, Lindsay was a judicial extern to the Honorable Judge Philip S. Gutierrez, the Chief United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Lindsay comes from a family of public servants. Her mother’s over 30-year legal career has focused on criminal law, including two years as a professor of criminal justice studies; her stepfather had his first career as a high school history teacher for 15 years with a second career in law, and her father was a music teacher and jazz musician who continues to teach part-time in retirement.
Outside of YM&C, Lindsay is a devoted mother to two toddlers and an avid reader of mystery novels.
