Overview

William (“Bill”) J. Trinkle is a widely experienced trial attorney, having litigated multimillion-dollar cases since 1982 in State and Federal courts in California. He has experience in court and jury trials, Federal and State appeals, mediations, and arbitrations.

Before joining Young, Minney & Corr, LLP, Bill was associated for three years with a school law firm in Sacramento as the litigation manager representing public school districts and other public entities in state and federal courts in a multitude of areas, including writs of mandate, real property, employment law, grand jury investigations, contract disputes, and more. In addition, Bill was actively engaged in transactional representation advising public boards of education on labor law issues, board policy development, Brown Act and Public Records Act, and other matters.

Prior to that, Bill spent nine years with the Walnut Creek, CA, civil litigation law firm of Yudien & Associates. That firm specializes in labor and employment, wrongful termination and discrimination, real estate, landlord/tenant, and business litigation matters. Before Yudien & Associates, he was with the Oakland, CA firm, Randick & O’Dea for ten years. He handled general civil litigation matters, including trade association litigation, environmental litigation, commercial unlawful detainer, disability discrimination, and real estate litigation in State and Federal courts. In addition, Bill served as a court-appointed judicial arbitrator for the California Superior Court, County of Alameda, from 1996 to 2000. Earlier in his legal career, he was associated with the Sacramento civil litigation firms Grossfeld, Dougherty & Grossfeld, and Mull & McCarthy, each with broad-based business and civil litigation practices. In the Fall of 1981, Bill was an intern/American law advisor for the transnational Danish law firm of Konig, Homann, Homann, Korso Jensen & Steen Hansen in Copenhagen. During law school, he has also served as a law clerk for Justice Edwin Regan, California Third District Court of Appeal in Sacramento.
