Critical Update: Understanding the Significant Financial and Legal Effects of The Budget Trailer Bill on Charter Schools

The Budget Trailer Bill contains significant funding deferrals for all charter schools and no funding for students enrolling in charter schools after February 29, 2020.  We will explore how to manage these twin threats to your financial stability. 

Further, we will review the legislative changes to minimum instructional minute requirements, attendance documentation requirements for “distance learning,” and changes to the charter school renewal process.  We will also address the unique treatment of nonclassroom based charter schools in this Bill.
